Before your visit

Physicals

Most insurance companies will provide coverage for a physical examination. These most often are at no cost to the patient. However, these visits are designed only for a review of your history, a complete examination, and a discussion of healthy habits, recommended screening tests and immunizations. Physicals are not for reviewing or refilling chronic medications or dealing with acute issues.

If we bill your insurance company for other services such as freezing a wart or discussing medications, the insurance will not pay us for the physical. Therefore we ask that you make a separate appointment for any other issues that you feel may need to be covered.

Refills

If you need a refill of your medication, please let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time.
